(Posted on 12/08/21)
The Career Programme at Chester International School is made up of International Baccalaureate Diploma Courses plus a career related programme such as a BTEC in Business or CTEC in Digital Media. The skill-based, future-focused programme enables learners to go on to study at University or to an apprenticeship or employment.

This week our Year 13 Career Programme students received their final component scores for their CTEC Digital Media course. The cohort had already received results for their Diploma Course components earlier in the summer and now together with their latest results boasts a 100% pass rate with 50% of learners achieving a Distinction grade. This is an outstanding achievement for the learners and for the school.
Abbey Peers who coordinates the IB programmes in the Sixth Form said: ‘It has truly been a privilege to watch some of our founding students mature into successful young adults, and I am so proud of our whole CP cohort's outstanding achievements this year. Vocational students are using their success to follow a range of opportunities including studying at Russell Group Universities or travelling to work in the United States. Most importantly, 100% of students achieved what they needed to follow their first-choice next steps.’
