IB Levels (16+)

The International Baccalaureate (IB) package of:

• 4 Higher Level Diploma subjects or
• 3 Higher Level Diploma subjects plus 2 Standard Level Diploma Subjects

Plus the core components:

• Extended Essay
• Theory of Knowledge
• Creativity, Activity and Service
• Futures

You can view the list of subjects you can choose from by clicking this link. Choose a combination of any of the subjects, one from each subject group. When you select your options you will need to think about subjects you enjoy and what subject experience you will need in order to gain access to University of an apprenticeship.

Each Diploma subject is given a score out of 7 from the IB. You can use the UCAS tariff calculator on the UCAS website to see how many UCAS points each grade is worth. Select: IBO Certificate in Higher Level and select a grade to explore.

Universities which accept UCAS points as part of their entry requirements will accept students who have taken IB Levels.
